DAY 1 > Arrive Cape Town airport : Shuttle to first night’s accommodation to drop off luggage & freshen up : Visit to the Castle of Good Hope & guided tour : Relaxing dinner picnic on Camps Bay beach with sunset : Back to the hotel for a good night’s rest!

DAY 2 > Table Mountain cable car to top (option of abseiling this monolith) : Scenic drive along Atlantic seaboard to Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve & afternoon snack : Back to hotel & dinner along the vibrant Long Street.

DAY 3 > Victoria & Alfred Waterfront for shopping : Robben Island trip to see Mandela’s prison cell : Drive to Hermanus via Gordons Bay taking in the awesome scenery of the Kogelberg Biosphere : Dinner at Bamboo Beach.

DAY 4 > Relaxing walk around Hermanus center taking in craft market & Old Harbour : Lunch at Bientangs Cave : Drive up Rotary Way & Paragliding over Walker Bay : Back to accommodation for traditional South African “braai”.

DAY 5 > Early start for Great White Shark Cage Diving in Gansbaai : Visit the famous Carcharias Great White shop : Afternoon at Hemel-en-Aarde valley visiting Sumaridge, Bouchard-Finlayson & Hamilton Russell vineyards : Dinner at B’s Steakhouse.

DAY 6 > Relaxation day : Late breakfast at The Rock followed by walk along cliff path to Grotto Beach : Horse riding along the beach / Sun tanning on Grotto beach : Lunch en route : Visit Birkenhead Brewery in Stanford : Back to Hermanus for group dinner cooked Xhosa style with traditional Xhosa dancers.

DAY 7 > Sandboarding on the Betty’s Bay big dunes with lunch & drinks : Back to town for authentic Township Tour of Zwelihle & introduction of charities : Quadbiking in the Valley of the Heavens : Back to accommodation for theme dinner of “Wines of the Cape”.

DAY 8 & 9 > Early departure for safari park to take in Big 5 : Game drives & lunch with resident mammals : Afternoon relaxing with nature walks : Evening game drive & horse back trails : Dinner in the Boma : Early game drive the following morning : Shuttle back to Hermanus.

DAY 10 > Sea kayaking in Walker Bay Whale sanctuary or abseiling off Gearings Point : Lunch in town center : Drive to Agulhas (Southern tip of Africa) : On to De Hoop Nature Reserve for overnight in this pristine area : Dinner under the stars with short astronomy lesson.

DAY 11 > Morning nature walk in De Hoop with lecture on local fauna : Drive back to Hermanus via quaint local towns – lunch en route : Caledon Hotel Spa & Casino for pampering & gambling : Dinner at Caledon Hotel or at accommodation.

DAY 12 > Drive to Franschhoek for visits to internationally acclaimed wine farms : French Huguenot monument : Selected Stellenbosch wine farms en route to Drakensberg Lion Park : Lunch at Butterfly World : Back to Cape Town to evenings accommodation : Dinner at Mama Africa.

DAY 13 > Breakfast at Green Market Square : Shopping at this vibrant craft market : Drive to V&A Waterfront for scenic helicopter flight over the city bowl : Lunch at CJ Rhodes Memorial overlooking Cape Town : Sunset Cruise from the harbour to Clifton beaches : Snacks on board.

DAY 14 > Breakfast & last minute shopping : Pack bags & shuttle to the airport for return flight home : Last minute surprise !

The daily price per person is totally tailor-made to suit individual budgets.

Please note that certain activities are for the clients own account at the time of partaking in that activity. The choice remains with the client whether or not to take part & thus incur the cost.

Accommodation prices therefore range hugely between R80 (£7) right up to and above R12000 (£1000) per night.

Therefore daily average expenditure will vastly vary, depending upon which activities and accommodation you opt for.
