Hermanus is located at what the early explorers called "the Cape of Storms" and they sure were right, as the wind, rain and high sea waves can occur, especially during the Winter months of May to August.

This quite obviously cancels many of the fabulous activities that Hermanus has to offer - including - Whale watching boat trips, Great White Shark cage diving boats, Kayaking and other fair-weather activities and pursuits.

Thankfully Hermanus has many other activities to keep you and your family busy that avoids getting rained on.
